Marcus J. is a Digital Media Artist creating various subjects of mixed media that challenges the average minds to think beyond the surface. At the start of his professional career, Marcus created amateur videos in 2009 with the help of a point and shoot camera that taught him composition and the intention of framing angles to give interest to viewers. His sophomore year of high school in 2016 he submerged himself more in videography full time through commissioned work. This passion eventually led to the development of his media company Digital Monarch Studios in 2022. Marcus obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication in 2020 and since then, Marcus has done multiple creative freelance projects, been a part of film festivals, and large cinema production projects. Currently, Marcus is striving to expand his digital network, build community, and his production team to create storytelling films.
